Struggling artists especially wouldn't waste their time cold friending and its a very well known scammer tactic. Reverse searching their (normally wildly different art styles) example art will normally bring up the true artist.

Don't feel bad that's 99% a scammer I guarantee. As an artist, I have never once got commissions by cold friending randoms on discord... and effectively immediately harrassing the conversation to "give me your money"....
