I appreciate the concern about griefers as I have had to deal with them on both my owned and rented lands. Ban lists, auto return, and limiting rez to group only are three tools I find effective in dealing with griefers. I do not use an orb on any of my properties.

As I mentioned in the forum, the system used in Bellisseria seems to work well. In short there is a defined limit for security orbs to function (surface to 400m and over 2000m). This gives an unrestricted airspace of 1600 meters for air traffic.

PV Gremlin, SG Fairy Dragon, and Anima Fabled Fox have wonderful vendor support. Martian Mutt does as well.

It is good that Philip Rosedale is acknowledging that the PBR rollout was poorly done. And improvements have definitely been made. But the graphic features described in this video just do not seem that important to me. I honestly see no difference between the settings. But, to each their own.

Do these platforms require a VR setup in order to use? If so then they can hardly be called free options. Yes, a one-time purchase is a small hurdle, but if we are going to use fixed-income folks as our benchmarks then it can be an insurmountable hurdle.

Sandboxes are where so many creators in SL got their start. As for land to build on you can get nice parcels with good LI capacity for as low as US$6 per month. No, it's not a full sim, but most of SL's users are not into sim-sized building. I manage well with less than 9K SQM.
