Original resistance account for the NOAA. Not official account of NOAA but close enough we can forecast them. Weather geek. Boat driver. Former airman. Weekend redneck. Coffee: black. Go Walz! ๐ŸŒฎ

I hate Russia. There could have been anyone in this truck. A mom and baby waiting for dad... anyone.

Kamala said he'd try to use the military against the US population. News outlets called her "hysterical".

Also... I absolutely do not recommend going to Tibet unless you have the right contacts. I had a former PLA soldier with me (an in-law) and even at that, we were followed and interrogated at a train station at one point. If I had been alone, I can imagine a different outcome.

I was there in 2015. Drove to the end of the road in a Prius with a couple friends. It's weird because you're well above 10,000... the air is thin and you're still looking straight up at a mountain. It's unreal. But to get from road to summit is near impossible. So the climb is on other side.

From the comments, the headline is providing the wrong impression because people usually hear about Everest from the Nepel side. There's also a China side. Most people there aren't the traditional climbers; they drove up on a road (similar to Pike's Peak) to about 13,000 feet.

I don't play games. If they're going to detain someone, they're going to detain someone. But I see them, or anyone for that matter, detain someone in a way that threatens their life -- I'm armed.

If I ever personally witness a knee on the back of someone's neck or lungs, I will do whatever is necessary to protect that person's life. At best, you get to go to the dentist to remove a boot. At worst, your family will mourn you. This is lethal. Don't do it.

From composting to solar panels, NFL stadiums are working to be more sustainable Several NFL stadiums in the U.S. are among the most sustainable sports venues in the world because of their solar panels, rainwater collection systems and on-site composting and recycling programs.

40% of Lincoln Financial Field's energy comes from solar panels.

Lindsey Graham is pretty lucky that he's no longer serving in uniform. With the new no beards rule, he could have had a problem.

California governor says Trump is sending 300 California National Guard members to Oregon California Gov. Gavin Newsom says the Trump administration is sending 300 California National Guard members to Oregon.

Gov. Newsom should immediately offer any California National Guard members the same rank and pay in the California State Guard if they resign their commission. I don't think enlisted could transfer, but the officers could resign.

These jets were designed to kill each other. Itโ€™s strange to see an American F-16 and a Soviet-era MiG-29 flying the same formation in combat.

Bottom line: America isnโ€™t a training ground.

Our general and flag officers know this, but just in case one or two finds this: Donโ€™t turn our troops into cops. Donโ€™t turn our cities into battlefields. Thatโ€™s a path we won't come back from. And that'll be on your shoulders instead of those stars!

Iโ€™ve seen what happens overseas when people stop trusting those with guns and uniforms. You get unrest, insurgency, and extreme violence. Thatโ€™s not stability โ€” itโ€™s chaos. Our job is to keep that chaos outside of American soil, not to create it at home.

05.10.2025 09:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 45    ๐Ÿ” 4    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Worse, it politicizes the force. Our oath is to the Constitution and to each other, not to a man. Using the military to โ€œfixโ€ cities is a partisan stunt, and it fractures the bond between service members and the people we serve. The people we need to support us and our mission.

05.10.2025 09:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 41    ๐Ÿ” 2    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Troops arenโ€™t trained cops. ROE, de-escalation, evidence handling โ€” all different skill sets. Send soldiers to do policing, and tragedy is inevitable.

05.10.2025 09:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 38    ๐Ÿ” 1    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Thereโ€™s a law for this: Posse Comitatus. It keeps federal troops from acting as police. For good reason. Break that wall, and youโ€™re sliding into martial law by another name.

05.10.2025 09:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 47    ๐Ÿ” 2    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

In combat, at least we had defined missions & hostile actors. Here at home? Whoโ€™s the โ€œenemyโ€? Protesters? Civilians? Our own families? Whole neighborhoods? Thatโ€™s how you tear down trust between Americans and their military.

05.10.2025 09:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 41    ๐Ÿ” 2    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Training doesnโ€™t happen on live populations. We built mock villages, ran scenarios, practiced rules of engagement. Using real U.S. neighborhoods as โ€œtrainingโ€ is not training โ€” itโ€™s intimidation.

I served as a Combat/Special-Operations Weather guy (SOWT/CWT), deployed all over the globe with Green Berets, 3 tours in Afghanistan alone. When I hear a POTUS say โ€œuse American cities as training groundsโ€ for troops, I know what that really means: turning soldiers into police. Thatโ€™s a red line.

You know the really dumb thing about this is that a lot of Puerto Ricans are pretty damn conservative. The majority are Roman Catholic. MAGA is basically shitting on their supporters.

Depends on Congress, public willpower, special interest money.

Probably nowhere.

The more we nosedive into lunacy, the more historians there are going to be in the future that write very favorably about GWB, "The Last Republican President."

On top of being sideloaded (so the Google Play store doesn't matter); Android has about 90% of the market in Latin America. Thus, the people who really need this app are more likely to use Android than iOS.
