I think DOJ did this on purpose and it's kind of hilarious.

Original resistance account for the NOAA. Not official account of NOAA but close enough we can forecast them. Weather geek. Boat driver. Former airman. Weekend redneck. Coffee: black. Kinda Grumpy. Go Walz! ๐ฎ

05.02.2026 05:20 โ ๐ 43 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0And the murder of Alex Pretti should concern every American who still believes in the Second Amendment.
Putting breaching charges on doors and pulling people out of their homes without a judicial warrant should concern every American who still believes in the Fourth Amendment.
And I remembered the oz statement, but either is absurd. So I was laughing at them. I didn't think anyone was going to come to their defense.
05.02.2026 04:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well, it wasn't actually a typo and it was only four months ago. I thought everyone knew this happened. RFK Jr said million. That stood for about a week, and then they had a meeting at the White House and Oz said, "We recalculated and we believe it's billion, not million..."
It was in November.

05.02.2026 01:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I think you're right. I think you can eat one meal per day "today" and be fatter and less healthy than someone who ate three meals per day with a dinner desert in any decade prior to 1970.
Our food, it's not real food. At least if you're not spending a fortune and "organic" doesn't mean "natural".

So -- everybody should be pretty slim four months in.

It's been 4-months since RFK Jr and "Doctor" Oz stated that America was going to lose 125 million pounds of fat in a year. Which means, it should be well on its weigh (sic/pun).
We should be about 40 million pounds lighter by now. Do you still see fat people out there? Yes/No.
I'll be upfront: I didn't exist in 1960. But I did grow up in the 1980s and yes, everything tasted better back then. Some junk food in the 1980s was healthier for you than what we commonly call meals today. RFK Jr is doing nothing important.

05.02.2026 00:54 โ ๐ 12 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've been watching Stephen King's 11/22/63. It's one of the few novels I've not read and have only seen show/movie. I am liking it. Which is funny, because I almost never like King's work on film, probably because I read the novel. But one thing that struck a chord with me: Better food in 1960!

To have Government Regulations, you need Government employees!
Immigrants working in ag = cheaper food.
That's not even hard math to figure out.

If you want people to feel that the economy is great, then tax the shit out of billionaires, bring down housing costs, create universal single-payer healthcare and let that put money in people's pockets!

This company made a potentially six-digit mistake. And I'm giving them every opportunity (plus some) to just fix it. And so far, they haven't. The communications I have already puts them at the loss. They're either going to fix it, or I'm going to make their insurance company wish they did.
