Bringing this up cuz I played a game that softlocks itself within 10 minutes only on Steam Deck because it can’t properly play an event, yet it has a “Verified” rating by Valve.

A community rating would’ve helped here.

I just feel like having a secondary community verification section would not only help with niche games having a rating, but also help since Valve can’t realistically give games a fair shake for longer than like 10 minutes at most.

•Are marked as “Verified” and either run very poorly or straight up do not function.

•Are marked as “Not Supported” and run PERFECTLY, assuming you just… set Proton to Experimental (shit, some games don’t even require that and are still “Not Supported”).

Honestly Valve should’ve relegated Steam Deck verification to the community. Like have an official Valve rating, AND a community one displayed together, because there’s tons of games that… 🧵
