It usually ends up being painting stuff where they show these “hacks” to help paint around stuff and I’m like “this thing is clearly removable or movable in some form, just move it and put it back after!”

Instagram (a platform I’m not sure why I still use) regularly recommends me home fix and improvement stuff.

Some of it is really neat and gives me cool ideas and others just drive me crazy with how inefficient or straight ridiculous they are.

We should finish that Portal 2 play through.

Finished my read through of the Artemis Fowl series. Loved the books as a kid and enjoyed rereading the first 6 books and finally reading the last 2 to wrap it all up. Such a fun and imaginative world Eion Colfer created and it’s been a great escape these last couple of months. 💙📚

I am so glad I don’t work there anymore. I did like my job and the people that I worked with, but so many bad decisions from the corporate level just made the stores a nightmare to work and operate in. And that was before the pandemic.

I just remembered Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein will be on Netflix soon and Iim impatiently waiting to see it. My only concern is it might make me want to read the book for the 4th time.

Why does Wizards run ads for the PlayStation Secret Lairs that went on sale last week and already sold out? The Secret Lairs always sell out within minutes so what’s the point of running ad campaigns after release date?

Last night was the first Trick or Treating with the little guy that we had a group of his friends to go with. It was chaos but he had fun.

We also mixed up our home offers by having chips, Cup Noodles, and Mac & Cheese packs along with candy for those who may need it. It was pretty popular!

When you’re networking at work, then remember your work profile links to your LinkedIn which you rarely use and often forget to update so you jump on and are going through your calendar trying to remember when you got promoted because time is a blur.

Been diving into Minecraft the last few days to get my mind off things. Got an iron farm up and running so I can really start taking on projects. I’ll have to take some screenshots and upload them.

Oh the plus side, we did pick up some Halloween decorations for our front windows. A couple more small things and we should be good to go this year.

Last year we were just over a month into our new home so not much time to properly spookify it.

Seeing my son get to know the neighborhood kids over the past few weeks and them running around and playing together, knowing there’s other parents watching like when I was a kid, just fills my heart. It’s the little things that keep me going these days.
