Big 12 men's hoops is now 11-6 in games against power conference foes to start the season, with only 1 bad loss against everybody else. (Thanks, TCU.) Not bad at all.

Leading with "was that a foul on the last play?" when every replay makes it clear that it wasn't, instead of focusing on how good the game was, is...a choice

The announcers also pointed out 3-4 bad calls that went Auburn's way over the course of the game, and only 1 that went Houston's way IIRC. Utterly bonkers to have your takeaway from the game be "well they should've called more fouls on Houston"

Come on @thefieldof68.bsky.social do better. There are at least 3-4 angles available of the final play and it was a clear non-foul from every one of them. It's your job as journalists to report objective facts, not platform Steven Pearl's petty nonsense.

The wild Auburn fans shit is simultaneously loving Pearl's post-game "we play physical defense, too. We fly around, too" comments and also defending their massive FT margin with "Well yea, it should've been even bigger given how y'all play defense"
