- Ok good to go!
Greetings from San Francisco! It is good to be back at Photonics West.
We will be giving our talks on January 20th and 21st. You can find us in the “Photonic AI accelerators,” “Photonic Neural Network I & II,” and “Diffractive Optical Processors” sessions.

New manuscript: "Self-optimizing multichannel optical computing" 🎉
Most optical AI wastes multichannel information. We don't.
Light does the computing. The system optimizes itself.

Next week, we are heading to San Francisco for @spie.org Photonics West to showcase our latest work.
With my grad students, we are attending to present 6 talks and 2 posters.
Check the attached schedule for times and room numbers in Moscone West.
Congratulations to my team!
New year, new manuscript 🎉
Our new manuscript introduces an optical spiking neural network that exploits rogue-wave statistics as a passive nonlinear activation mechanism for energy-efficient optical computing.

We show that fiber optical computation does not use all supported modes but instead emerges in a low-dimensional, task-dependent modal subspace.
