My lovely doggo (and first son) died three years ago today. I have this photo shuffle rotating lock screen that’s been stuck on pictures of him this week. That little guy will never leave my heart. ❤️

Signed up for the gym and was initially nervous partly cause I didn’t have much in ‘gym wear’ but as soon as I walked in, i spotted a guy in an arsenal jersey and jeans 😌

Truly, no one gives a shit at the gym.

I had a tiny dog sit next to me on the train ride to the city that I got to give belly rubs through her sleeps.

(later got some sleepy belly rubs myself as I binged on paranormal horrors)

A reminder that life is full of tiny joys if I’m keen to seek them.

So, let me get out of bed and go meet a white man who’ll put me through the mattress as reparations.

But other than that?
If I had to look at the bigger picture?

I am loved.
And I am living in one of my childhood dreams.

Woke up in the biggest crash out I’ve had in a short minute but I’d like to report that I have an amazing support system cause I’d genuinely have kms without them at this particular point in my life.

She keeps telling me I should marry right so she can experience a happy marriage through me. I kinda realize I’d be doing it for my maternal grandmother as well.

Over my trip home, I got to learn about my maternal grandmother. I never knew much about her, she died way before I was born.

I got to hear of her hard work and sacrifice for her family. How she died sad because she put her effort into someone who did not reciprocate and eventually left her.
