Star of episode 3: Charlie. Freaking loved every single frame of her animated. She was super emotive! It was so satisfying to watch!

I lowkey feel like she left Luci because he was just not a great partner anymore, and raising Charlie made her realize his inadequacies as a husband/father to their daughter. (I love Lucifer but man is FLAWED.) Also, the way they approach/view Hell and its people likely didn't help

I know this can be completely platonic (or forever antagonistic) BUT THE IMPLICATIONS!! THE POSSIBILITY! IT COULD BE SO FUN IF THEY GOT TOGETHER AND CONTINUED BUTTING HEADS!! That would be unique, I think, in the Hellaverse, too, since I think most of the canon pairings are pretty lovey-dovey/soft

A theory with absolutely no evidence but I just like imagining as an alternative: Lute isn't hallucinating. The manifestation of Adam is created by Roo (or Lilith or both) to continue stewing tensions between Heaven and Hell via Lute due to her clear emotional instability and violent tendencies

Sinners clashes with Charlie's. That is, she may be more aligned with the Vees than Charlie. Though, Lilith's end-goals are probably more altruistic than the Vees.

Charlie can demand better/more of her mom. But it also seems like she'll be facing off AGAINST her mom at some point and Charlie will have to stand up for herself since it's implied that Lilith's ideals for

both have to rectify that they've been neglected for far too long/often and they deserve better. This can also work for Charlie's arc for the first reading of Lilith's potential character.

Lucifer letting Lilith go could help his character growth in either case. This doesn't mean they still can't

be more Lucifer-focused where he has to grow and accept responsibility because that's how he lost his wife. And he has to/could do it without the expectation that she'll come running back to prevent him from falling back into poor habits.

The second is more Charlie AND Lucifer focused where they
