With 3 or 4 leagues, seems like Pittsburgh's population they'd land one somewhere in there.

I wonder if the Hitchcock's will follow. That Conference seems to be rather strong, both on and off, so even half of them flipping would be huge.

Don't forget the argument of 3-5, or more, "D4" leagues on the men's side (USL2, NPSL, TLFC, UPSLP, NN) and 2-4 "D4" WoSo leagues (WPSL, USLW, UWS, UPSL-W)

And then Annapolis announces it's moving to USL2. HOLY 24-hour news cycle, Batman

TLFC is already scalping NPSL teams left and right, as is USL2. NPSL has lost like a baker's dozen teams and only added 6 back. TFLC meanwhile is already up to 30 teams and growing. This is likely a deal where TLFC ownership and ideals take over, & NPSL teams are allowed to join for basically free.

My goal with these changes would be to make League's Cup and North American equivalent to the Central American Cup and Caribbean Cup. But I can absolutely understand the apprehension CPL fansbases would have for joining ANYthing with the name League's Cup.

Just make League's Cup 16 teams with 7 from MLS and LMX that didn't make CCC and 2 from Canada. (Also, give a CCC spot from CPL to LC. There's no reason the 6th ranked league should get 2 auto spots in CCC while the 3rd-5th get a combined 0.)

This stuff should be the thing regular people are less able to be propagandized about but so many of us willingly go "Shit, I guess I am the problem actually" and not change anything
