20.12.2024 06:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Does it make sense to say that Iโm not a record collector, but a collector of records? Never wanted to fill shelves, but I enjoy music on a record and I always want to get another, so I find myself having more ? When do we cross the line from music listeners to museum hoarders ? #vinylcommunity
18.12.2024 09:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Now that you mention it, this (great) sludgy doom album by asg sounds equally cool on both 33 & 45
30.11.2024 19:42 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Just take your time with it. Pick stuff you like and will enjoy and every 2 purchases of renowned classics try to get a newly released record. Listen to everything slowly and repeatedly whenever youโre in the mood, rush never helps, this is a sport for pleasure sloths
30.11.2024 06:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Classic jack white sound with the vibe of The Hives? How can you lose ?

25.11.2024 06:11 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Question: are you happy with the Obzen pressing ? (My beloved) Meshuggah kind of feel off on LP
25.11.2024 06:09 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Ah, sucks when this happens. We always dig a bit more when we come by really good black metal (of course thatโs a thing) for associations.
25.11.2024 06:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The t-52 Stanton is super reliable and durable, should be easy to find anywhere around 200
25.11.2024 06:03 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0First of all, Porcupine Tree deserve all kinds of attention so Iโm with you on that. Didnโt mean to sound dismissive and we all have done it, but I guess Iโd like it to be โofficiallyโ branded as the low fat experience of a concert
25.11.2024 05:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I understand the keepsake of a great night , but isnโt all that time wasted when you see a concert through a lens? Doesnโt it lessen the experience?
25.11.2024 05:40 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Not sure what has a more lasting effect on me, surprise drops (hello Kendrick), or calculated releases (greetings Opeth)
25.11.2024 05:36 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0don _hertzfeldt Not to sound like a curmudgeon, but when I was a teenager, I took the train to go to the record store to find rare stuff. Spotify is way more convenient, but that wasn't the point. The point was to get out and to feel like you're hunting, to feel like you're living your life. I'm going to the movies, I'm going to this show. What streaming has done-it's very convenient, but it's taken the feeling of going hunting and turned it into we're all just being fed. We're all farm animals that are just being fed, and we're being fed content. You can just stay home. Just stay home. We'll just feed it to you. No wonder everyone's depressed.
This hit my weak point for massive damage
