He's got an autobiography out, and the story about writing it leads off the book like a pre-credits James Bond scene (kinda the way the Keith Richards book does). Got to meet him for work once, was a delight to talk with. Still making new music too!

Oddly enough, Jim Peterik, who wrote it:
a) ...for a girl he had a crush on. He thought was just using him for his car. She grew to like him. They're married to this day.
b) ...went on to co-write "Eye of the Tiger" for Rocky III after Sly couldn't get "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen.
