It’s been an excellent few days in Sheffield for #ESCoP2025! I have enjoyed so many talks, posters, and chats, and have come away feeling inspired and excited about research ideas and topics happening across labs 🤩

I’m going to present at the Blitz Talk on Friday, 6pm, at #ESCOP2025 @escop.bsky.social. The very last session, yet I’m sure with a lot of excitement! Come to listen whether engaging in your hobby predict your cognitive abilities. 🧠

I had a brilliant time at the #ESCOP2025 PhD Event Pub Quiz last night! Our team representing #CardiffUniversity may not have scored the most points, but we definitely had the most fun.

Tomorrow is the last day of ESCoP 2025. We will start with a keynote lecture by Dr Pen Popov at 9 am in The Diamond. The closing reception will start at 7.13 in the Kelham Island Museum.

Very interesting keynote at #ESCOP2025 by Ven Popov on the importance of computational modeling for theory building in psychology, with lots of questions to think about. Is #psychology really more complex than #physics? How can we lower the hurdles for psychology researchers to do formal modeling?

Morning jog in #Sheffield, Crookes Valley Park. Does anyone at #ESCOP2025 have any other recommended routes? I tried the Five Weirs Walk, but it's rather run down with detours along big roads, unfortunately.
