I went to artschool during a period when it was rlly important for non-americans to have a USA degree and connections within the USA/LA in order to secure a job in animation. But with the increase in remote work and free online art resource, I just can't recommend anyone attend artschool.

Por suerte mi familia estaba bien! Lo peor que nos paso fue el aburrimiento y el no poder usar la cocina. Pero si tengo unos amigos que estaban recogiendo su familia del aeropuerto y no sabían cómo contactarlos, y otra amiga estaba atrapada en el auto 5 horas para un viaje de hora y media 😭😭😭

Was pretty peeved i lost my day off to this, but HONESTLY. Thank god i didn't have to deal with any clients or drive while this was happening.

What i learned from this is that my family needs to buy WAYY more boardgames. And i need to learn how to use a grill.

We got our electrity back but phone lines, mobile data, n wifi were still down untill like 3 am. It was pretty crazy ready all the missed messages from friends in other countries asking if i was ok, wasnt until this morning i found out the blackout made the news EVERYWHERE lmao
