Decided it’s about time to pickup where I left off watching Virgin River a few years ago. So now watching season 4 episode 1.

Sorry, without rewatching it and making notes as I go through I can’t point to specifics. Maybe I’ll do that for you at a later date.

To be clear condensing a long multipart story into 90 minutes is always going to leave a lot out. These re-edits to condense the stories for modern audiences are a good attempt, but without being able to film new linking scenes, they will always unfortunately feel like something is missing.

Just little bits here and there where previously there was linking material. Jo seems to disappear at points then reappear a little later where the was an explanation for the separation in the full story. Otherwise they’ve done a reasonable job. Maybe needed an extra 5 to 10 minutes in the runtime

Watching the new edit of #DoctorWho The Sea Devils. Definitely been edited with a time constraint in mind as some things don’t quite make sense due to cuts. But nice to revisit the classic Pertwee era again.

As I’ve got the day off I’ve just watched the opening two episodes of the #DoctorWho spinoff #TheWarBetweenTheLandAndSea. It’s better than I was expecting, typical R.T.D. Setup, a bit over the top, but an enjoyable watch. Looking forward to seeing how it develops in the weeks ahead.

Decided I want some wrestling entertainment this morning, so going to watch #WWE Survivor Series War Games from last weekend, after I get a drink refresh. Feeling like I have a slight hangover even though I’ve not been drinking! Probably just slight dehydration after eating too much yesterday.

Just caught up on #TheMightyNein on @primevideouk.bsky.social, I’m loving this show, seems more developed and richer than the other @criticalrole.bsky.social series #VoxMachina which was a breath of fresh air when it started. Some great animation on Prime now along with #HazbinHotel

This week saw the 25th Anniversary of the 3 part "Frank Herbert's #Dune" miniseries on the then named Sci-Fi Channel, which originally aired 3rd-5th December 2000.

The perfect excuse to (re)watch it!

Really enjoyed the double length start of #DeadTown in this weeks @2000ad.bsky.social prog (2461). Looking forward to seeing where this story goes.

Season 3 Episode 1 of #WondLA was brilliant, glad the series is back for it’s conclusion. Will watch more tomorrow.

Biggest decision I want to make today is: do I watch #TheMightyNein or #WondLA over breakfast later? I’ll then watch the other over lunch. Planning a nice lazy Saturday spending most of today #reading, then I’ll watch the #F1 qualifying highlights on C4 while having dinner.

My Brothers Christmas drink! I have no idea what he’s drinking but it looks fancy. Seems Japanese coffee shops go very special on the toppings. #NotForMe I’ll stick with my simple black coffee or tea.

Managed 7.5 hours of good quality sleep tonight. Body could do with more to help catch up on a few days of very poor sleep, but my brain has decided to wake up and not cooperate. Will probably stay in bed and read until the need for breakfast kicks in, in a couple of hours.
