Black Redstart at Chesil Cove, Wheatear at Ferrybridge and the latest (and probably final) update on the RSPB issue with Radipole and Lodmoor. My response to their predictable justification followed by their final reply.

A few recent shots from around my area. This Stone Curlew at Lodmoor (an extremely rare visitor), a male Black Redstart at Portland Bill and a Grey Plover at Ferrybridge.

I'd happily talk to you but this god awfull clunky flippin platform won't let me use 'chat' without wanting to know the ins and outs of a cats *rse. Sorry. Talk to me on a sensible platform 'X' by all means.

A few shots from the last 2 days at Radipole. Snipe, Curlew Sandpiper and a Grey Wagtail.

Recent shots taken over the last few days. Curlew Sandpiper and Sedge Warbler at Radipole and a very smart Wheatear at Ferrybridge.

Lots passing through Radipole by the wooden bridge lately.

Radipole for the last couple of days. Little Grebes, Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler all showed well but the star was the male Bearded Reedling.

Agreed David the RSPB have downgraded Radipole and Lodmoor and just make lame excuses if challenged. These two sites are my local ones and until recently were managed reasonably well. However they are both now in an awfull state.

Little Stint at Ferrybridge plus Ruff, Yellow Wagtail and juvenile Little Ringed Plover at Lodmoor. All from this week.

A few from Lodmoor over the last couple of days.

One of the many Chiffchaffs at Lodmoor and a Wall Lizard at Church Ope Cove, both from earlier this week. The Little Stints were at Ferrybridge late yesterday afternoon.

Some shots taken this week around my area. Turnstone, juv Arctic Tern, Sanderling At Ferrybridgs and Common Sandpiper at Lodmoor.

Correction these are actually Drakes in eclipse plumage.

Knot and Sanderling at Ferrybridge on Saturday, plus two unexpected juvenile male Wood Ducks at Radipole Friday.
