I have accidentally changed my Spotify account to the Azerbaijani language, and I have no idea how to change it back. At this point I think my only recourse is to learn the language.

Oh wow. I have ingested 5 of their albums into my fabric. From Their Satanic Majesty’s Request to Exile On Main Street. Definitely worth a listen. Check out “Sway” off of Sticky Fingers and tell me if you hear components of this track on Sister Luck by The Crowes. (I know, wrong podcast😆 )

Excellent question. I do really like that one. Can’t really say why one hits and the other doesn’t. I would have to give it some more thought. Maybe it’s just something I’m not ready for with petty, but I would already be expecting it from Dylan?

The spider and the fly wasn’t the one I was thinking about - scratch that one - I stick with “the under assistant west coast promo man” though!

This one is reminiscent of mid 60’s stones songs “The spider and the fly” or “The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man”. Tells a story. Nothing wrong with it, but doesn’t evoke the same emotion as his best. (Oh and since I have now been challenged I’ll go with “A” for the trivia question 😆) 2/2

What I struggle with for some of the songs on Last DJ is the storytelling doesn’t always feel universal. This one does make me wistful for a time now gone, and the orchestral arrangement plays to that. But it just doesn’t have that same deep resonance as some of his more memorable tracks for me. 1/2

So, like, if there’s a civil war on Monday, do I have to still go into the office? Or is it ok to just work from home?

Second, the opened the Monster show I saw in Knoxville with Begin the Begin, which was an incredible opener. Would WTFK have been a better opener? Maybe. Except for the fact that my friend said to me about an hour before the show, “I hope they play Begin the Begin.” Then BAM! So great!

I worked at a college radio station in the early 90’s in New York. I had never, and have never, heard of this album, but this album was positioned above the glass connecting studio A with Studio B, and I stared at it for 2 years. Now I will finally listen, and close that gap in my life.
