Most of the roses we planted last year are doing well and have shown us a lot of beautiful blooms 🌹 (which don’t attract only us but also lots of rose chafers 🪲)

We’ve been using our big water barrel to cool down during the hot summer days just like last year when we bought it. It’s so much fun! 💦

The heat wave arrived and so did endless amounts of berries. While the garden ripens under the summer sun, we slow down between harvests. There's berry picking, blooming roses, and peaceful moments in the hammocks. To cool off, we dip in our big water barrel 😁 New vlog: youtu.be/shOCZs8Iql8

We planted a lot of vegetables this year, and it really shows. It feels like there’s more growing every year 💚 Our wildflower meadow is thriving too, full of buzzing insects and summer energy. It’s such a joy to have this piece of nature right here in the garden 😊

Our lupins came back stronger and bigger than last year which was a relief. Next year we’ll be able to hide behind them 😃

We’re back in our garden, and everything is bursting with life. Summer is in full swing - strawberries are ripe, cherries are everywhere, so naturally the first harvests are starting. Flowers are blooming all around and even our wildflower meadow is full of life.

When we returned from Finland back to our country house, a record harvest of strawberries and cherries was waiting for us 🍒

We had a 2-hour window in Vienna before catching our train home. So, there was a bit of running around with the camera to capture some quick impressions for you. The city was alive with colour and energy. Just a short but lovely detour before hopping on our train.

We explored Seurasaari Island and got a glimpse of old Finland - peaceful forest paths, traditional wooden houses, and unexpected moments. We also wandered through a few more places in Helsinki. And then our vacation was over. Come along for the final day of our trip!

We spent a few hours exploring the Suomenlinna sea fortress in Helsinki. We had to take a ferry which is a part of the public transport to get to this UNESCO world heritage site which was really cool 😊

We made it to Helsinki! In this video, we walk from the ferry terminal to our apartment, exploring the city along the way. There’s a short tour of our apartment, and later we hop on another ferry to visit the historic Suomenlinna sea fortress.

Hiking along the Estonian coast in the sunny weather was one of the highlights of our vacation ☀️

It's time to explore the Estonian countryside - visiting the beautiful Keila waterfall, hiking through forests, and making our way to the Baltic Sea. The first beach was... let’s just say atmospheric (hello, swans and seaweed). But later we found a much nicer spot.

There are so many sights to explore in Tallinn. This is the Viru Gate, the entrance to the old town. We spent hours wandering through the narrow streets, soaking in the historical atmosphere 🏰

New vlog is out! When we arrived in Tallinn, Estonia, we decided to explore beyond the famous old town. We walked from the airport through various neighbourhoods, visited a beautiful park with a baroque palace, and saw areas with charming wooden houses.
