As much as I love this team and this club, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy the game in its present state.

So much of the experience is just draining and we’re speaking less and less about the football itself.

Strong bench. You can never have enough left back options. 😀

Glad to see the Lewis Skelly red is being roundly condemned but we can’t treat it as a black swan event or a one off aberration. Webb is trying to create a culture of referees being stars and it needs to stop and it needs to be called out.

Howard Webb thinks referees are there to change games. He thinks fans pay to watch referees and one of the very comfortable matey broadcasters who are close to him needs to burst his bubble and tell him that nobody wants that.

The red will surely be rescinded (he says knowing it won’t)

I bloody love this club.

By my calculations, a comfortable win tomorrow is enough.

Losing Saka and Odegaard for extended periods will always be tough to overcome but, on reflection, Tomi’s injury has hit us almost as hard.

Benny was forced to overplay and we’re now seeing the same with Timber. And we’ve seen the Partey solution is not ideal in the more difficult games.

I see a manager not making excuses and giving it everything to squeeze every drop from these players. I see these players going flat out with nothing on the bench to help them, playing with issues. Is everyone upstairs putting in the same effort to help them and reinforce? Maybe. But I don’t see it.

Cold light of day, the number of injuries and the amount of energy Arsenal are putting into every game, every three days. I just can’t be hugely angry with players or coach. I think they’re short and they’re giving absolutely everything. The guys upstairs need to help them now. I need their energy.
