New Year's Eve Dinner in Iguanodon | Professor Joe Cain
"Dinner in the Iguanodon Model" is a famous story about Crystal Palace Dinosaurs that took place New Year's Eve 31 December 1853.
(There are loads of great online articles about this legendary event, and we will continue to reference many on a regular basis, but we would always recommend starting with anything written by our friend @profjoecain.bsky.social)

Sophie/Ace, in her signature patched leather jacket, sits posing on the elephant-stanced Iguanodon, with the head of the ignuana-stanced creature behind. their paint scheme is a very dark green with a white underside, which was done under advice from the Natural History Museum
The nineties were crazy! Our Dinos still had paint jobs, and they were very much NOT on Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register - as proved by @sophiealdred.bsky.social in this very cool (but irresponsible) photoshoot for DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE #162, July 1990
