So-called "leftists" on Facebook, especially some of those running meme pages, will twist themselves into pretzels trying to justify the use of GenAI. I'm beginning to think many of them are working for the ruling class.

Oh, and the DIY Dynamount-alike is called "DIYnamount." It's open source if you wanna try to build one.

I've just become aware that someone made a DIY version of the Dynamount mic robot (you use it to get your mic position correct in front of the guitar speaker or kick drum or whatever you're trying to record by remote control). It uses a web interface on an ESP32 microcontroller. Rabbit hole entered.
