Finally own a 4k copy of my favorite film of all time and what I consider the perfect movie. Had to import the European edition. I adore this film.

fantastic. A retelling of the story of Huckleberry Fin from the perspective of Jim, a character that over the last decade has come under a bit of scrutiny for being a stereotype in Mark Twain’s classic. We quickly learn that there is much more to him as certain scene take on a whole new meaning.

The season 3 finale of From was so great. We’re finally getting answers and while it does a t times feel like a spiritual successor to Lost this very much seems like they have a plan for everything.

Took a gander at the movies and tv deals on Amazon for Black Friday. These are terrible. There’s really very little to pick up.

I mean, we did and we didn’t lol. That transfer was terrible.

Awww I love the cat man!

Wanted something portable since I’ll be traveling a bit for the next few weeks. Also, helps since we only have one tv in the house. Let’s see how this goes.

Silo continues to be one of the best shows on tv right now. Loved the first episode of season 2. Apple seems to really be dominating in the area of Sci-fi lately.

Oh you are in for a treat. I know it had its slow parts but it was so worth it to get to the big emotional moment.

Elantris is very good. It’s his first published book so there’s definitely a sense that it’s an author that’s still finding his voice. Pacing wise it can be a bit rough for some but I enjoyed it for what it was. Personally I’m excited for him to revisit that planet in the next few years.

That’s what I’ve heard. It starts out kinda YA but once you hit book 2 it throws all that away.

My timeline is full of books, video games, dogs, and cats.

Man you are in for a treat. I loved Mistborn era 1 and still need to read era 2. If you haven’t, I highly recommend you read Warbreaker as it ties in pretty heavily in the back half of book 3.

Been enjoying the hell out of Dragon Age the Veilguard, however the one thing that keeps taking me out is the use of modern slang and terms that contrast with the setting. Brandon Sanderson has talked about this before on how you have to be careful with fantasy and the verbiage you use.

I’ll have to give SMT a go.

That’s kinda been my issue with Metaphor. I’ve been enjoying it but I feel after Persona 5, Persona 3 Reload, and now this, I’m kinda burned out on the calendar thing.

Control is very good. You’ll get a lot more out of it though if you’ve played the first Alan Wake. It’s not necessary, but if you have a moment I recommend you look up at least lore stuff from the first game and try not to ruin anything from Alan Wake 2.
