Above and beyond the obvious erroneous and illegal nature of the text group, there was a military action on a foreign country - and the president knew nothing about it. So he says. His first response to being found out he's done wrong is to plead ignorance - and then double down.

Resign? No, he'll double down, triple down. He already made an extremely lame and obviously erroneous and disparaging comment blaming Goldberg.

Nor will he get fired. The prez will just hold this over his head as a threat to make him hew even more closely (if possible) to his agenda - or else.

Lots of musicians got wiped out there losing all their instruments and gear. But an effort to help restore their losses and return the active music scene to its former glory culminated this weekend. Some 1600 donated instruments were distributed. Very heartwarming.

I didn't know this either. Good for her. Such a decent, forthright, ethical person. I know I've seen her before, but I can't remember when nor why. She is fixed in my mind, now.

Same here. I don't think I turned on the TV at all until evening, and then it was to watch a show, not the news. Didn't need to be informed, I knew. 🙄
