These deserve to be on my walls ❤️

I've been searching for wall art these past few weeks and it dawned on me yesterday that I have unframed cross stitch. I can hang my own damn art!

Ordered some cables to make the PS2 run with our new TV and it's all very exciting. I feel like a kid again, waiting to get a new console.

The voiceover in the video sounds like a caricature of an Irish accent. It also seems like an Ameri-centric view of the famine and misses a lot of important things. Ireland continued to export food during the famine, we didn't just emigrate to the US, etc.

I'd personally have no interest in it, no matter who made it. I'm young enough to have missed most of the violence, but I grew up in Ulster and still have experiences related to sectarianism. I was heavily involved in cross-border peace projects as a teen and have no interest in simulating this

I'm sorry they made a game about what??

My resolution to listen to more albums is fun because I love listening to music, but also because people get so happy when talking about what albums they recommend. Their enthusiasm is infectious. ❤️

In 2025 I arranged a date night with my partner where we watched Kung Fu Panda and Cars back to back (they hadn't seen either?) What a beautiful night that was.

I have a handheld emulator for older games and a couple months back I modded my original Vita. We don't have a tv atm but when we do, I'm plugging in my PS2. Between the vita and PS2, I think I've hit a real sweet spot for gaming.

I found a ten year old WIP in my cross stitch supply box this morning! It seems fitting to try finish it this year, a decade after starting it.

They were hard plastic and they did work! The bag itself was a weird rubbery material. I'm sure it was a shit radio, but it *did* make noise and tune to different stations.

While I remembered owning the Groovy Chick mp3 player that held a whopping 120 songs, I totally forgot about the radio handbag and I think remembering this thing did me psychic damage.

I've been having fun on Bandcamp! The best part has been discovering local bands and sometimes even going to their gigs. The vibes at those small venues are immaculate.

I'm getting a dedicated DAP later this month and won't be renewing my Spotify subscription. Been shifting towards listening to albums as complete pieces of work and it's been so lovely to do that.

Is this one of the later games? I don't remember the psychic powers or them all being kids in the first one! Maybe I need a replay!
