AI will not save us
In fact, it's probably going to make our lives much, much worse
In the New Statesman this week, I channel just some of my hatred toward AI Hype into 900 words.
On the grifters and rubes surfing a bubble atop a pyramid, and the economy-shattering fraud the rest of us can no longer escape.

I really didn't mean to manifest this, I'm so sorry

People who havent had to put up with watching Spurs twice a week for eight months, telling Spurs fans they should have had more patience. #coys

Tim Sherwood won 13 out of 22 Premier League games as Spurs manager. Thomas Frank has won 7 in 26.

This is it, shouldn't be something the board overthink. It's genuinely starting to look like we won't gain another point this season under Frank

If we sack Frank before the summer (we won't) genuinely who comes in to keep us up? I'm looking at names now and it is extremely slim pickings

He's absolutely ending up at Spurs isn't he

Looking forward to implementing his ideas against Derby County next season

I reckon if we get relegated Thomas Frank might be in trouble

Finally saw Saipan last night and while the film itself is just grand, รanna Hardwicke is phenomenal as Roy Keane

Xavi Simons is absolutely running the show, so good to see him enjoying himself out there

He's especially screechy tonight

The Lewis family allowing Frank to take the Dortmund game is borderline cruel at this point, it's going to be horrendous

The thing about Thomas Frank is: he needs to be immediately sacked.

A lot is said about Romero losing his head but Micky van de Ven gets rattled so easily. He clearly blew his top after the penalty incident and that boiled over at full time. Something he needs to work on fairly rapidly

Day one of not watching Tottenham until Thomas Frank leaves the club

The worst part is that we're terrible at it too

I'm not an Ange apologist by any measure, but at least his style of football was aiming towards something, however impossible it was. This is just nothing. No aim, no style, no hope
01.01.2026 21:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0
This Spurs side is one of the most creatively inept teams I've ever seen. Routinely getting the ball near the box and turning around to pass back to the defenders. Absolutely diabolical football
01.01.2026 21:12 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0
Watching this Spurs team is a miserable experience. Bringing me right back down to earth after the Christmas cheer
28.12.2025 17:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0
It was my favourite out of the three, thought O'Connor and Brolin were excellent. Agree on Kunis though, terrible miscasting. Andrew Scott criminally underused as well
16.12.2025 11:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0
If form continues into the busy post-Christmas period it could get quite ugly. He might half a window!
