For the 4000-level Renaissance Lit exam, I had each student bring in their candidate for best passage of the semester, discussed them and held a tournament. (It’s an assignment I stole from someone back in the Twitter days. @medrenliza.bsky.social, maybe?)

The thing about both the WI and the Guides is that transphobia is best countered by like, meeting trans people and talking to them. It is far easier to stoke hatred when you have shut down avenues for normal daily interactions.
