I use the shit out of my Ryobi stuff and the only thing I ever broke was the angle grinder. And to be fair, I hucked it against the concrete because the small batteries were inadequate for cutting out an entire quarter panel.

I have since invested in the medium and large batteries and been fine.

Stages are a mixed bag. Some races are worse because of them but some kind of need that reset. I could go either way.

GWCs are good in theory and I used to not have an issue with them, but the past few years have made them so random. Maybe if the playoff format changes, GWCs will be “normal” again

They made my autocorrect worse somehow. Oh well.

The absolutely only NASCAR gimmick I can live with is the stage cautions. I wish they didnt award points, but I can live with pre planned cautions. Especially when you’re their in person.

GWC needs to go away as badly as the playoffs.

My son is just stoked to be here. Every time a car drives by, he yells “racecar!” And smiles the biggest smile.

A guy like me doesn’t deserve this. I don’t know how I got here but I’m enjoying the fuck out of every second.

I’ve got a Budweiser in one hand and a Happy Dad seltzer in the other. I’ve got New York steaks ready to get on the grill for dinner and some Jim Beam Apple to go along with it.

Our kids got to meet Katherine Legge today (my daughter’s fave) and see all the cars in the garage.

I’m gonna get sappy on you all for a minute.

Today’s my 11th wedding anniversary and my extraordinarily hot wife agreed to go camping at NASCAR for the weekend. Our ridiculously smart and cute kids are here with us having a ball.

You gotta go see a race in person every once in a while to remind you why you love it.
