Saying this cause I also know some spells have had the rules bent for RP flavor and as someone who has had a group that does that(ty azer for letting lottie speak with animals indefinitely as long as the spell is prepared every day)- if its fine with everyone, then cool.

it may be a show with a public audience, so they should be mindful of their approach for when it comes to certain themes- but in terms of how cast members play- as long as everyone else is having fun, then good.

also as an aside, those nickpicks are not an invitation to start ripping into the cast. I know some ppl don't like certain players and how they play, but i've seen peeks of how toxic it can get and i don't wanna engage with it.

at the end of the day, all that matters is the table's enjoyment.

So honestly props to the whole cast for being able to sit without interjecting or fidgeting with anything. Overall, really enjoying it. Gonna try to watch more this week and maybe I'll catch up!

and far be it from me spectating, but as someone with ADHD, I know I also sometimes do feel like I have to insert some humor when things are bad. If I don't busy myself with drawing or do something else when there's a scene without me, the ADHD brain struggles LOL.

There's moments like wagging ur tail during a fight where a shitton of people have just died horribly makes me go like: "huh?" or oversharing Occtis things for humor that I just don't find that funny. But I did enjoy her and Shadia, that was very sweet. And I wanna see her more with Occtis!

There are a nitpicks I have. I do think characters like Murray and Thaisha sometimes take me out of a moment in how silly they can be. Sometimes Murray's humor lands right though for me- where we need some brevity from the gloom.

Thaisha feels a lil... everywhere? I can see the motherly vibes- but

I'm honestly very curious about the world of Aramán. I also see you though Brennan. I see your thoughts about capitulating to bullies only leads to more being taken away. I see you. I SEE YOU

Anyways, very engaging. This is the first CR that I've been able to watch several episodes and be invested

I love a lot of the characters! Everyone has done a good job of selling me on their characters in some fashion. Brennan has been really good at moving the scenes along in a way that keeps my ADHD brain from disengaging. The plot itself and the lore drops is really fascinating too.

Finished watching the Overture for CR4. Gonna try and post some non-spoiler thoughts but just in case
