Look I think we should look into what we are doing, in terms of government action, that makes having children more difficult.

The greater % of the people hitting retirement vs the % at working age the greater the burden on the latter and lesser the capital free for investment

Aged populations are less reasonable or hopeful, more focus on prejudice and grievance.

These economies rely on innovation. People grow less innovative as they grow older. And when their economies shrink (and pensions are overburdened) they still have the capacity to take out their anger at the world

Yes I agree, peacekeeping missions there would not be expensive or bloody- compare to active wars, and it would benefit us. Unfortunately that's not where politics is at
