Bills offense is “Josh, make a play”

To be fare, his guys are running wide open vs the Bills’ spot drop zone. Not sure many QBs couldn’t dump it down for 8-10 yards every time against this D.

That being said, he has made like 3 great throws today.

Yeah and he got up slowly after that last play too. Dude shouldn’t be in the game.

Not having to deal with press as often should help him.

I feel like the Bills have gained enough equity by being player friendly that this wouldn’t hurt them too much, if at all. Slay doesn’t get to demand to be a FA.

Sigh. AJ too? The Bills already struggle to get to the QB and could potentially be without almost all of their DE’s.

Did the Athletic just wake up from a coma and think it’s still 2022? Why are the Bengals listed with those other teams?

I appreciate players wanting to play but it’s the coaching staff that makes the decision to keep putting him out there hurt when he wasn’t ready to play.

I’m really hoping with Milano being gone next year that Bernard gets moved outside. I think he’d be more effective and, perhaps, stay healthier

He totally made the D play better tonight.

How good another team is doesn’t have anything to do with how good the Bills are. They’ve been in very similar situations - record wise - multiple
times the last 5 years. They usually play their best ball from weeks 11/12 on.

This year the Bills do feel different though. They haven’t played well.

It’s not a coincidence that in 3 of their losses (Falcons, Dolphins and Texans) they were missing maybe the only guy that can stress the D - Kincaid. In two of those games they were missing both Kincaid and Palmer.

When they can’t roll out 12 and 13 with Kincaid on the field they struggle on O.

Also, I don’t even get a full week to just enjoy a win. I got 3 days. Thankfully I now get 10 to enjoy the loss.

Whats different? Late in the season they unleash Allen.

He’s been bad all season at setting the edge.

I wish statheads would get together and create a standardized EPA. The Athletic has Allen as #1,
Maye 2 and Love 3 in EPA. People are using the same stat name but using different formulas.

Chiefs drop to 5-5 which means their odds of winning the Super Bowl probably just went up again.

Is there anything that can be done to create a success rate stat that isn’t binary? A loss of one on first down is treated the same as a 4 yard gain yet the difference between 2nd and 11 and 2nd and 6 is massive.

Is he back on the field for the 2nd half?

When healthy, Bills probably have the best TE room in the league.

It was bad D with a few key splash plays to save the day. I’ll take it, but the D needs to be more consistent.

Mascots weren’t afraid to lay the lumber on the poor kids!

And his 8 missed tackles doesn’t even include all the times he didn’t get a finger on the runner because of horrible angles. He’s gone from an average/slightly above average S to a guy that should be benched if this continues.

Definitely need to stop trying to feed Coleman. He has 7 and 6 targets the last two games. Much like Gabe Davis, he’s not a high volume WR. They need to pick their spots with him.

Why do we need analysts if it’s as simple as looking at a team’s record? Now that the secret’s out of the bag I guess it’s time to start looking for another line of work.

I see those same plays run in similar situations by other teams - with success. I’m not sure it’s the play calling, it’s very rough execution…which is still on the coaches
