Thanks, it’s surreal at times, putting it lightly. And it’s brought to the surface how much hate that had once been surpressed. Hubs and I stay looking over our back, more than we used to. I keep trying to transfer to Canada or Australia with my company. Patiently waiting for the chance.

Careful what you wish for. These parts of the south pack multiple types of heat. Growing up in Memphis had me in TSA just to get to class. Aside from that, it’s trump land out here, so we’re politically in thick of it here in the blood clot of America.

I go where I’m told mostly. My company moves me around a bit. Not opposed to cold, honestly. Just means more snuggles, right?

Yup, vinyl is a check over here too. The hubs and I love finding a good second hand store with a massive collection. You find some of the best stuff that way.

Never got into the anime much. I loved Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon back in the 90’s/early 00’s but never watched much beyond that.

We also love the appeal of the off grid life. Middle of nowhere, small community, interdependence, and no authority beyond the commonly agreed way of life. Tiny living and low carbon footprint all the way.

They’re amazing! And look like little white jelly beans. They add a Smokey flavor too. I ♥️ it hot and sadly these don’t pack enough of a punch on their own, but they mix well with everything. I apologise now for your next obsession. I always balance them out with carrots to sweeten the sauce a bit.

I started out tight but loosened up over time. No pun intended that time, I swear. I just got to a point where I’d have the hardest time sliding my stitches over the cable joins on the circulars so I had to force myself to loosen up. But I have to tighten up when I use DPNs, otherwise the needles

As you should be, I love the open stitch so much! Has to be a tension nightmare to maintain consistently. Love seeing someone so dedicated to their craft.

Oh yes! Just me & the pup. Being cozy is half the joy of yarn craft. & thanks, I grew em myself, the rest is lotion…& various lubrications 😉 🤣

bags are TCed tho. The fabric seems thicker and more sturdy too, so I trust my cards in it more than a knit fabric, but I love a good knit feel on my skin.

You are absolutely right! Knitting takes forever compared to crochet, but I don’t have the patience to sit down and truly learn crochet. I’ve tried so many times and always put it down. Now, Tunisian crochet, that’s my jam. I can whip up a project super fast, but a knit cap takes weeks. All my tarot

Decided to pick up an old blanket project I started 8 years ago. I’ve worked on it for years (across 4 US states) and plan to finally finish it this time 🤞. Seems like I say that every time tho. It’s hard to stay motivated at 300 stitches a row. 🤦🏼‍♂️ ashamed.
