12.02.2026 05:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Are you also helping them automate production to make up for all the workers they are losing to ICE?
11.02.2026 23:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really? What fighting? What coordinating? What bringing?
Rep. Panetta couldn't even answer a few simple questions I sent in an email to his official .gov email account last November.
I sent it this with my true name, address, and full contact info and have yet to receive a response.
$o, why do you $ay that it'$ amazing? It'$ not at all $urprising.
11.02.2026 23:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As veteran of the commercial printing industry, I find the whining about the loss of an industry that employs less than 45,000 workers downright laughable.
There were over 11,000,000 people employed in the printing industry in the '80's. Now, there are around 1 mil. due to changes in technology.
We would be proud of you more if you stood shoulder-to-shoulder with us at the next ICE OUT or NO KINGS protest.
We didn't see you at Levi Stadium:

Good PR move to use this humble photo to to hype this bill. Just to remind everyone, this is the photo of a $47 mil. mansion on the coast in La Jolla, CA to hype his other bill.

11.02.2026 16:40 β π 2731 π 820 π¬ 122 π 45Stop wasting our/your time hyping quick easy solutions whose only purpose is bragging your way to re-election.
10.02.2026 21:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Since it is unreasonable to try to decrease the demand for homes, there is only one logical solution, BUILD MORE HOMES! It's a simple solution, but it won't be easy or quick. Putting more existing homes on the market only results in churning the market and does not address the shortage of homes.
10.02.2026 21:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Nothing you have done, including the bill you are currently pushing, the misnamed More Homes on the Market Act, does anything to decrease the housing shortage or make housing more affordable. You ignore the one law that is universally accepted, The Law of Supply and Demand.
10.02.2026 21:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We ignored this shit on purpose. Why keep shoving it in our face?
How can I ignore you if you won't go away?
Although the core benefit of raising the exclusion is valid (it was set in 1998 without COL increases), the selling point used to push this bill is just nonsense. It does absolutely nothing to increase the stock of available housing as touted. Only building more homes does that.
09.02.2026 01:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There are millions of people in the same situation as you, including me, so I am familiar with the issue.
My advice is to consult a qualified tax specialist and also a Senior Qualified Real Estate Agent.
If you wait for Jimmy's bill to pass you may save an added $75K. Don't hold your breath.
To be clearer. The home referred to is on the right in this picture. The home in the center sold off-market for $47 mil. in 2025. If they had only waited for Jimmy's bill, they could have saved $100K in taxes. Our hearts go out to these poor beleaguered souls,

Thank you Jimmy for your efforts to solve the housing shortage issue.

Jimmy really has the interests of his constituents at heart. This even extends past CA-19 to homeowners in La Jolla, CA.
These poor souls can't sell their $11 mil. home because the IRS tax exemption is only $500K. Until Jimmy comes to their rescue, they are forced to rent it for only $35K/mo.

08.02.2026 00:33 β π 140 π 67 π¬ 5 π 0BRENNAN: Do you think the president needs to apologize for the video?
REP. TONY GONZALES: It's up to the president. There's no room in the country for racism, antisemitism, socialism -- all the isms need to go. What no one is talking about is the video was about election integrity.
More seriously, following a statement with "but" negates that statement.
Other statements by Gonzales: "Of course I believe in honesty, but...", "of course I believe in fidelity, but...", "of course I love my wife, but..."
The Constitution is not something validated by beliefs. Certainly not his.
Rep. Tony Gonzales: "Of course I believe in the Fourth Amendment, but"
Brennan: "Don't call me butt!"
Looking forward to Rep. Panetta joining us shoulder-to-shoulder at all future ICE OUT and NO KINGS rallies and protests.
Here's one he missed in San Jose. It is likely that most of these people voted for him. Should they do it again?
Clearly, if he understood what this guy is saying, h wouldn't vote for himself, either. Democrats get it.
