Successful trip to see the Woodchat Shrike at Newhaven this morning. Also nesting Raven. Purple Sandpipers on the jetty.
Then on to Splash Point and got Black Redstart.
Finished with Mandarin under feeders at Weir Wood and a Marsh Tit.

After two blank nights, had three moths in my trap this morning. Believe they are brindled beauty, hebrew character and small quaker (unless anyone knows otherwise). Survived the foraging common pipistrelle.
