It's very much a mixture of getting used to it and finding the right coffee - I love strong black coffee but I also found one recently that, now that I'm used to bitter ones, doesn't taste bitter at all and actually tastes like chocolate even by itself xD Def helps hunger though!

Left Image: Alphinaud, Kara, and Tataru stand in Fortemps Manor. Alphinaud and Tataru each look towards the others of the group, while Kara looks over her left shoulder back towards the door. Consistent with Black Mage being her primary job focus since the beginning of Heavensward, she wears a blue shin-length robe with a gray mantle, along with black and gold gloves and gray boots. Her hair is pulled back into the ponytail she sported for nearly the entirety of the MSQ prior to Dawntrail. Alphinaud: "First the hostages at the Vault, then Vidofnir's miraculous appearance, and now the abdication of Count Edmont... this has been rather the eventful day. A promising step towards peace between man and dragon, perhaps, but Estinien yet eludes us." Right Image: A close shot over Alphinaud's shoulder, looking towards Kara. She now stands with her arms crossed, averting her gaze off to her right as she speaks, her brow furrowed. Kara: "What happens now?" Alphinaud: "It may be some time before we hear any news. I daresay we would all benefit from some rest while we have the chance."

Left Image: Kara occupies most of the frame, from the waist up. She continues looking to her right, but her expression is softer, bordering on pensive. Kara: "There is a... personal matter I would like to attend to. Away from Ishgard. Will that be a problem?" Right image: The camera is looking down from behind Kara's left shoulder towards a bemused Alphinaud, who is holding his left hand up conversationally as he looks at Kara and replies. Alphinaud: "Kara, please, you needn't ask permission from us, me least of all. If you have business elsewhere, by all means do as you wish." Author's Note: This comic was written before I had decided that most of the Scions (and virtually all non-Scions) refer to Kara by the long form of her name, Karayanga. Were I remaking this today, Alphinaud would be doing the same.

Kara's chocobo, Kwehvin, is an unusual color for the species, an icy blue. He wears some light barding, but is generally nonplussed about the journey.
