The fact that I'm able to hop to OCE and interact and play with people that I can't on my own data centre is a miracle, and I really hope SE are able to roll this amazing feature out for ALL servers someday.

Yes congestion is an issue but you can't lay that blame on the playerbase or one player.

Socialising is a main aspect of an MMO.

I hope people don't feel discouraged to use a feature of the game because of this.

You can say that nobody expected this to happen but why tf do you think we can travel to OCE???
SE want this kind of thing, they want people from all over to interact with one another, they wouldn't have implemented it otherwise.
