It was raining out so our picnic slipped inside the car. Afterwards the cuddles came. For the next half hour, Sweetie shared my seat.

When doggie.(Sweetie) first met me, it was with a growled and that concerned cat-person me.

These are tonight's additional notes to a story in my "to do" list. Adding to the 2 pages of story notes I put down earlier, this is what popped into my head this evening. Basically, I will have three extended sonnets (rather than iambic pentameter, each line is X words long) within a Rondeau similarly formed (locked in words as well as 2 refrains of a specific phrase). The 3 Rondeau sections will cover our Hero's arrival to the location (a scene stolen from another Tale), his death and the torments suffered, and finally, his time in the creek stuck between stones and drowning anew each time the creek flowed. Wish me luck! STRUCTURE NOTE: (10-6-25) Okay, I have an idea for combining a couple forms. This structure would make this story 2,744 words. I am planning the story in 3 sections based off a Rondeau. If I do it at this length, the 13 “lines” of the Rondeau would be 196 words each with the 2 refrains being 98 words each. Each Rondeau section will also contain within it a Sonnet. Rondeau Section #1 will contain 980 words. The Sonnet lines will be every 70 words. Rondeau Section #2 will contain 686 words. The Sonnet lines will be every 49 words. Rondeau Section #3 will contain 1,078 words. The Sonnet lines will be every 77 words.

The Tale will be titled "The Relics of Caleb Walsh". It follows a Tale previously published titled "The Journal of Caleb Walsh".

I have been experimenting with constrained writing. This will leave me 55 words and 2 phrases locked in specific locations I must write around.
