Forgot bluesky hates transparency

We're back baby!

First art post of the year! Fell in love with this design from @artfight.net's Draw To Adopt minigame, and had to throw my hat in the ring to win him. He ended up going to Taluly on Artfight, so this ended up as gift art!

Tired of the web of lies he dug himself into, Alister thought he saw the light at the end of the tunnel when heard about that mirror. With one last heist, he changed everything.

On the way to find Clement, his party ran into the God of Mischief. He gave us each a riddle, before offering a hand of cards. Heat's card had quite the trick—turning into a mirror so he could watch as scales grew up his hand.

So apparently powering through burn out by starting a month long art challenge is what one would call a "bad idea"—Who knew. Exhaustion, excess stress, and mental health have led me to make the call that I, unfortunately, need a break. I'll be taking a pause on huevember—I may come back to finish the remaining days at a later date, as its a challenge I love, but for now we're stopping here. I'll be filling up the queue with art to keep things active while I rest, so don't worry, you'll still be seeing new things from me!

I won't be finishing Huevember this year! Already pausing for a few days I can physically feel the relief, and with some new projects on the horizon, I can definitely use the break 😅

This year's redraw! There's even more detail from the last piece, and Dahlia's smile is much brighter. Her pose is more dynamic too, leaned to the side to point in front of the pair.
