I also loved her statems around how Democrats are different all across the nation. A Mamdani isn't going to work in PA or VA, but running candidates that excite their electorate are how we build this big tent.

I've been thinking about the government shutdown and the ACA subsidies A LOT!

My fever dream is that the subsidies are approved for this round and next and then the Dems run on a Medicare option on the exchange and remove subsidies. Lowest cost option, but not zero cost, a choice.

I think anytime is a good time, and this might be the best time. I fear that we will become complacent with this half measure and never see the outcome most people want. Also, if the GOP cannot stomach these subsidies this would be a way for them to save face.
