Like mori is a good dad to them, he bought ranpo a whole ass bakery, gives yosano the mafia card and let's her shop as much as she wants, buys her all the wine. Mori will actively care and protect all four of them so much that they never really question if they deserved the punishment or not.

And mori would do this for days/ weeks, and yosano couldn't listen to ranpos complaining anymore.

The worst part, mori manipulated these kids so much, they don't even blame mori for the punishments, thinking that it's fair. That mori is weirdly kind and affectionate to them all normally,

Imagine mori doing this as punishments if dszai and chuuya failed a mission. Mori does this however many times till he(mori) sees a crack in dazais facade, that if ranpo and yosano failed a mission, mori would refuse to buy ranpo any sweets or snack and force yosano and ranpo into a room together

Forcing yosano to heal chuuya, just to look at a still slightly passed out chuuya and tell them that it's strength training, imagine ranpo knowing how close to death chuuya was and the outcome that was going to happen.

Like what if mori had skk, and then teamed up ranpo and yosano. Imagine if the four were close and mori decided to test out how far he could push corruption. Litterally waiting untill chuuya is more bloody and broken and barely alive before finally getting dazai to cancel the ability,

Keep thinking about pm yosano and ranpo. Like imagine koyou taking chuuya and yosano under her wing, since both yosano and koyou are close in age they gossip and slag off mori.

Then Dazai and ranpo being under Mori's wing and actively slagging mori off to each other in front of him.
