Polish authorities have arrested a foreign military intelligence officer from a former Soviet Asian country on espionage charges targeting Poland and its allies. Official sources confirmed the arrest today, but withheld the individual’s country of origin and further details.

What we’re not doing, however, and here I’m also criticizing European countries, is finding solutions to counter propaganda and disinformation. 😞

I believe efforts are being made. The problem is that these individuals are often recruited on Telegram, and it’s impossible for institutions to monitor everyone. 😞

I do think something should be done about Telegram, though; it’s under investigation anyway.

These are a few cases of prevention or arrests that I posted about recently. There are more on my page.

I frequently post about potential sabotage and espionage cases, and I find them in mainstream media from the countries where they happen, and eventually also in international press. But all of them are still under investigation. This year we’re seeing verdicts for attacks that happened in 2022-2024.

Yes, unfortunately I saw the news too. Very strange, maybe they stopped buying oil as a negotiation tactic? 🤔

I believe there would have been many more cases if the authorities hadn’t done their job.
For example, a few months ago they stopped a Colombian man from setting fire to several targets near Bucharest, Romania. His actions were coordinated by Russian-linked individuals.
