Oof, one of my many worries in this day and age

Welp, we got some major water damage in my building tonight during the rain. My apt is okay so far, but chunks of the hallway ceiling came off, power was shut down, and we were told not to sleep here tonight. Hopefully that’s the worst of it, but we won’t know until sometime tmrw.

Easily my favorite Superman movie

Some of the humor doesn’t land, but not it a way to hurts my enjoyment like other comic book movies have done. The film is filled with heart and hope in a way that desperately needed w/ all the shit going on. All the performances are great and really sell this crazy world you’re thrown into.

Got to see Superman over the weekend. Overall, it’s a delightful film that is stuffed to the brim with some of the most comic-booky things I’ve seen on screen. But as outlandish as it gets, somehow it mostly works together. I never thought I’d buy into a movie where we have a superhero dog!
