I had an ongoing joke on my blog since I was 15 where my followers called me "dad" because I joked about being their dad now if they were being rejected for being aro or ace and part of the post is that I was being a predatory "fandom parent" to children....meanwhile I was the child in question lmao

Yeah I actually moved to twitter primarily after it happened for a while because people were stalking my blog. It was wild and terrifying at the time but in hindsight I'm like oh wow all these people were so in the wrong. They also waited for me to turn 18 to make another post about me!!

it was also partially fandom related bc of course. I was shipping 2 fictional men who didn't have canon ages yet (they were later both confirmed to be adult men, just with an age gap lmao). So I know that the most random things can have people making things up about you that are patently false.

This is why I so often take callout posts with a grain of salt. I was alive on 2016 tumblr experiencing the trauma of grown adults thinking I was another adult and shooting first and asking questions later. I have never actually posted about that publicly until now lol so that feels soooo good
