It course I looked at that. 2011. No Reform. Results in the constituency diluted due to unionist vote not being split. Last two elections. Very high constituency vote and high list vote but hardly any List seats

Last seat goes for 7.3%. SNP have 3.18%. Delta is 4.12 % divisor is 10, so 41.2% SHORT of getting a List vote.

The SNP does not nominate individuals for peerages, and therefore has no members in the House of Lords.

A) the SNP perform really bad and you get a few list seats. Unionists run HR

B) Good consultancy result but no list seats. 50/50 split HR. “No appetite for independence”

C) Vote SG 2 and get a HR majority for Indy regardless of polls being 5% down or super majority if accurate changing the optics.

Is it gambling? SNP have to lose many constituency seats to have any chance of a List seat. It don’t do anything to get to 65. It’s not additive. So the gamble:

If you have to lose 5 seats in a region like North East (v the polling data) to get one list seat, then you’re never getting to 65. If your constituency vote is 5% down v the polling, your regional vote is also going to be down.

SNP 1&2 is just a losing mitigation strategy. You just lose less badly

On Thursday 7 May, it’s crucial that people get out and vote.

Both votes SNP is negligible and risks handing seats to Westminster-owned parties - something Scotland simply can’t afford.

10.4% short of a list seat.

Even if they lose Inverness to independent (Ewing) or Oban or Lochaber to LD, they still don’t get a list seat (as no other party gets a divisor other than the SNP and LDs).

The SNP know exactly how Holyrood’s voting system works.

Both votes SNP isn’t about winning independence, it’s about protecting the SNP.

Under AMS it wastes list votes, hands seats to unionists and weakens the pro-indy majority.

It’s a slogan for party dominance, not a strategy for independence.
