Lol. Fastidious.

Clearly YOU want unionists to get as many seats as possible. Clearly YOU want the continued 50/50 optics of a wafer thin Indy majority to continue the โ€œthere is no support for Indyโ€ and clearly you are happy with the SNP not getting 65 and kicking Indy into the long grass

Troll

Clearly, you just look at historical results and expect that they are the same regardless of the environmental changes. Xerox was the worlds biggest printer company. You would not buy their stock based on past performance. They went bust. Competition from Asia.

You clearly are a unionist troll

It course I looked at that. 2011. No Reform. Results in the constituency diluted due to unionist vote not being split. Last two elections. Very high constituency vote and high list vote but hardly any List seats

2026 split unionist vote = high constituency result on lower vote % and ZERO List seats

Under Holyroodโ€™s system, SNP list votes are often wasted once constituencies are won.

That hands seats to unionist parties and weakens the pro-independence majority.

Independence needs cooperation not one-party dominance.

Independence support canโ€™t be taken for granted.

What % of the vote did Reform get in 2007?

If a new party is created and they split the vote of the unionists, do you think that would have an impact on the FPTP constituency results?

Pointing at historic results when the number of seats, boundaries and parties has changes is lazy.

So show me the seat by seat calculations for 2926 based on your predicted vote for each party.

Question. In NE region, if the parties get the following vote % in both the constituencies and list, how many list seats do the SNP get?

SNP 54%
Reform 12%
Labour 1%
Cons 10%
LD 8%
Scottish Greens 5%

Labour Betrayal of Aberdeen!

They pledged thousands of GB Energy jobs for our city, but so far only thirteen posts have been created.

Their HQ deal allows for only 50 desks so what happened to the thousands of jobs Aberdeen was promised?

EVERY poll by EVERY pollster for the last 2yrs has predicted that the SNP will win so many Constituency seats, that they will return ZERO Regional List seats

Hereโ€™s another poll to add to the list

SNP 1&2 means your Regional List vote goes straight in the bin

"The latest polling from Norstat suggests that the SNP are set to sweep the constituency ballots, to the point that they won't receive a single list seat.
By contrast, Reform are projected to pick up 21 seats, all through the regional lists. They would also become the main opposition party at Holyrood.
That to me is a clear indicator that it's a waste to give the SNP your list vote in May.
If you want to boost an indy majority and hurt Reform, the best option is a Scottish Green list vote."

Starmer is stuck on this one.

Call a referendum on rejoining or set the conditions in a GE. Whatโ€™s the difference then for Scotlands right to decide on independence?

If he canโ€™t do anything about it, how on earth is he meant to be ready to take over as FM?

Pointing out Westminster failures while defending the Union isnโ€™t leadership - itโ€™s contradiction.

At least the SNP are openly opposed to the UK government and the Labour Party, not making excuses for both.

A) the SNP perform really bad and you get a few list seats. Unionists run HR

B) Good consultancy result but no list seats. 50/50 split HR. โ€œNo appetite for independenceโ€

C) Vote SG 2 and get a HR majority for Indy regardless of polls being 5% down or super majority if accurate changing the optics.

Is it gambling? SNP have to lose many constituency seats to have any chance of a List seat. It donโ€™t do anything to get to 65. Itโ€™s not additive. So the gamble:

15.02.2026 20:10 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

If you have to lose 5 seats in a region like North East (v the polling data) to get one list seat, then youโ€™re never getting to 65. If your constituency vote is 5% down v the polling, your regional vote is also going to be down.

SNP 1&2 is just a losing mitigation strategy. You just lose less badly

Both votes SNP is negligible and risks handing seats to Westminster-owned parties - something Scotland simply canโ€™t afford.

10.4% short of a list seat.

Even if they lose Inverness to independent (Ewing) or Oban or Lochaber to LD, they still donโ€™t get a list seat (as no other party gets a divisor other than the SNP and LDs).

The SNP know exactly how Holyroodโ€™s voting system works.

Both votes SNP isnโ€™t about winning independence, itโ€™s about protecting the SNP.

Under AMS it wastes list votes, hands seats to unionists and weakens the pro-indy majority.

Itโ€™s a slogan for party dominance, not a strategy for independence.
