Correct. Their algorithms act like a giant sieve when it comes to any external links. They'll claim that it's to stop malicious content, but the purpose is to feed X and keep you and any information shackled to the platform.

In short, many other platforms(especially X/Twitter) limit your reach and exposure when you post external links.

So you want to dictate Bluesky censorship based on YOUR standards? If restricting non-consensual/Rape fantasies is somehow going to hurt everyone, then why won't restricting pedophilia and bestiality hurt everyone as well? It starts with that, but where will it end?

...that set the stage for Bluesky to have to clarify and modify the Guidelines. But they are culpable. Porn is already stigmatized. The last thing *consenting adults* need is to be further stigmatized by people who have a penchant for pushing things until everything that did work stops working.

If there weren't a small, albeit very vocal, contingent of rape-pedo-bestiality proponents who demand their fantasies be played out very publicly on Bluesky, the flagging/labeling would hardly be an issue. There's no porn ban here, and the sexual predators in training aren't the only ones...

The incest insult just doesn't have the same bite when you have to stop in the middle of advocating for Rape-Pedo-Bestiality fantasies to do it.

My argument of not being okay with pedophilia, bestiality, and non-consensual sex[Rape]? I do believe that's the argument of Bluesky and practically every other app, platform, website, and organization.

Yeah, I'm the weirdo.

21.09.2025 04:59 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I'm not the one with a rape-pedo-bestiality affliction demanding that a platform publish my "fantasy." My fantasy world involves consent and other humans. Maybe you should try being an adult and a little more responsible.

Thankfully, I didn't have to demand anything.

21.09.2025 04:36 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I have an even better idea. The protocol is right there if you don't like the guidelines put in place. It's free. All you have to do is take all that rape-pedophile-bestiality energy you're demanding should be unleashed on this community and create your own community.

21.09.2025 04:12 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I've never felt the need to "explore" rape, bestiality, or anything involving sex where I forgo consent. It's clear you have issues, and a very public community isn't the place where you should be "exploring" your fantasies.

21.09.2025 03:56 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Correct! It's literally not your business because you aren't responsible for maintaining community standards. If rape and sexualizing children and animals are just too much of a temptation for you, then put the burden on your shoulders and start your own community. See how far you can carry it.

21.09.2025 03:48 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Why would they be banned when the guidelines being pointed to are specifically talking about non-consensual sexual contentβ€”rape and sexual assault? Why not just find a place where they like rape, pedophilia, bestiality, etc.? I guess that's really hard to find. Why do you think that is, dipshit?

21.09.2025 03:39 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

.....pedophilia, bestiality..... It's right there. That's why I listed it,

Your "everything should be allowed" has to have a limit. So what's the limit?

21.09.2025 03:19 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I have no idea what you're even asking.

I know his history very well. It's part of the reason I used the avatar. Depictions of rape, pedophilia, and bestiality have been regulated, both legally and morally, for a very long time. I don't see how art has suffered as a result of that. The Slippery Slope runs both ways.

They even made it clear that the guidelines are for the Bluesky community, NOT the AT Protocol. That means that they, unlike most other platforms, give you a chance to take that "I don't care" attitude to another app where they also Don't Care.

21.09.2025 02:28 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

You don't get to play pretend on someone's platform when they've explicitly told you what is off-limits. If you were really concerned with saving some time, you'd find a platform that's okay with rape fantasies, pedophilia, and depictions of you banging your neighbor's golden retriever.

21.09.2025 02:21 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

The same wording is in place for pedophilia and bestiality. Are you arguing for those to be allowed too?

21.09.2025 01:50 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

"We allow consensual adult sexual content, including fictional depictions,..."

If you're having a hard time understanding what Consenual means, ask a friend. Hint: It has nothing to do with the antiquated Hays Code.

Now, show me the specific guidelines where it "bans purely fictional depictions."

21.09.2025 01:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I hope the feedback about sexual content and consensual vs non-consensual was better than much of the "feedback" I've seen recently.

20.09.2025 19:30 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I probably hate the payment processor puritans more than you or anyone else commenting here. But platforms that actually allow sexual content, and only stipulate that Non-Consent is forbidden, aren't the enemy. If more clarification is needed, then suggest it.

20.09.2025 18:58 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You can't get consent from fictional characters. That's why "fictional depictions" appear in the "We allow..." portion. *Non-Consenual* Sexual content is only applicable when a party CAN refuse consent, including attempts to circumvent with "synthetic, simulated, illustrated, or animated versions."

20.09.2025 17:56 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

At this point, I'm not even sure you know what you're arguing for or against. It seems like a reflexive rant based on a Slippery Slope you've created. You can't be talking about purely Fictional depictions because there's no consent to be given other than the creator.

20.09.2025 17:36 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 5    πŸ“Œ 0

They've made it abundantly clear the guidelines are for Bluesky, NOT the AT Protocol. If your "vibe" doesn't align with their guidelines, then you have the option of moving your stuff to another app running on the protocol, or build your own niche community. At least they do give you that option.

20.09.2025 16:55 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

If the so-called vibe is to circumvent Consent, then what you're essentially arguing for is to be able to do whatever you want, whenever you want, to whomever you want, disregarding guidelines set up by the entity responsible for platforming you and your "vibe." No means No, right?

20.09.2025 16:55 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

So you're insisting that they are "squashing creative freedom" by drawing a line in the sand between Consensual and Non-Consensual sexual content?

20.09.2025 15:02 β€” πŸ‘ 7    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 13    πŸ“Œ 0

That section is clearly defined as being Consensual vs Non-Consensual sexual content. What exactly does "non-consensual" keep you from doing? Context is what matters. Why would you be mentioning it, and are you promoting it? You guys are sliding down a Slippery Slope you've created.

20.09.2025 14:51 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Excellent job of making it harder for the malcontents and perpetually divisive people to disrupt and hijack public discourse.
