6/ Bottom line: Gen Z is politically aware and in tune—but fragmented due to gendered platforms and preferences.

Winning them over means meeting them where they are, with voices they trust, on issues that hit home.

5/ Gen Z is clear on where they disapprove of Trump’s policies:
• Inflation/cost of living: -30pt underwater
• The war in Gaza: -25pt
• Detaining student protesters: -23pt

4/ When asked what matters most to them about the Trump administration, young people named:
• Defunding vital gov services (esp. the Dept of Education)
• Deportation fears (esp. among young Latinos)
• Tariffs driving up prices
• Attacks on DEI—with one phrase repeated: “Segregation is coming back”

3/ The gender gap is stark:
Trump’s approval among Gen Z men: +11pt
Trump’s approval among Gen Z women: -24pt

That’s a 35-point swing by gender.

2/ This nationally representative poll shows a +3pt edge for Harris, but Trump’s disapproval is growing—now 47% disapprove vs. 39% approve.

That’s an 8pt net disapproval.
