Majority of Texans oppose total THC ban like the one vetoed by Gov. Greg Abbott, poll finds The statewide survey also found that Texas Republicans are closely divided on the issue.

New: A Texas Politics Project poll found that 53% of Texas voters oppose a comprehensive ban on hemp-derived THC.

Republican voters were divided on the issue, with 46% supporting a ban and 39% opposing it, according to the poll.

NO THC BAN: Gov. Abbott vetoed S.B. 3, a harmful ban on hemp-derived THC that would’ve disrupted livelihoods and damaged our state’s economy.

Lawmakers should pursue sensible regulation — not criminalization that disproportionately impacts communities of color.

The goal is clear: shut down Planned Parenthood, no matter who it hurts. This political agenda puts lives at risk—especially for people in rural areas, Black and Latino communities, and those with low incomes.
