IPCC summaries are negotiated by countries BUT controlled/approved by IPCC scientists = summaries reflect the longer report ie. the scientific literature

True! But 3am for me is noon in Dubai so I think it's a pretty good compromise between missing morning negotiations (and not waking up too early) and still being able to follow late negotiations 🤷🏻‍♂️

Un peu dans le même genre que Biden qui ne se prononçait pas trop sur la Chine pour ne pas faire le même jeu que Trump mais au final a mis des mesures encore plus strictes. J'espère que cet espoir n'est pas trop naïf 😅

Mon espoir c'est que Trump dans ses paroles fassent du Trump, donc qu'il dénigre très fortement le chang clim, les EnR, etc, mais que dans les actes il ne fasse pas grand chose et/ou ne puisse pas faire grand chose.

Je suis pas aussi sûr qu'avant. Maintenant la transition énergétique est une histoire de compétition industrielle entre les grandes puissances. Quand même un élément qui pourrait calmer les ardeurs d'un Trump

- phase down of all fossil fuels, or at least unabated
- promise for reimbursements of lost earnings of $100bn in order to regain trust
