From the plans and renders I've seen, it can hardly be styled as a 'Ballroom', it's very much a reception hall with primary intent for banquets

Baidu maps is the go-to for China (PRC). They have streetview but nothing like the 3D building view of Google. At least the roads match the imagery though

according to the Almshouse's site, the decision to put it up for sale is because they are unable to provide suitable conservation of the work, and to raise funds for their residents. Even so, it is sad for it to have survived 600 years only to be sold to the highest bidder.
