I have followers with wide reaches. Can someone intervene with @support.bsky.team to reinstate @reshetz.bsky.social? She's a Ukrainian who reports on the war who was banned due to mass reports after posting a screenshot from russian media that advocated genocide of Ukrainians. I posted the same one:

Used bicycle a few times in Toronto. Some notes:

1. Detour signs are placed too late. I went into pedestrian detour and got yelled at (rightfully).

2. Some bicycles speed red light creating near misses. E.g when pedestrians are in blind spot, crossing, there is a high chance of collision.

Acknowledging the mistake and exploring actual, equitable solutions like protected bike infrastructure would address the root cause of this sidewalk symptom.

On a different topic. I want an app that allows to take a picture and report car that block a bike lane.

Similarly, revenue from fine is shared with reporter.

Trams should not share tracks with cars.

I know not every street supports it but if street allows for car lane and track, drivers who go on a track must be fined.

Cameras can be installed on trams to take a plate picture. Revenue is shared with tram drivers.

The main drawback of BikeShareToronto is parking. They need more space but it is not the biggest issue. Bigger one is that some docking station do not work.

I tried a few in different locations and finally one worked.

Pedal assisted electric bikes are game changer. Climbing hills, keeping speed, starting up - all easy.

Most of the trip was inside the protected bike lane so felt safe. Other areas were okay-ish. We need more bike lanes in Toronto!
