Writing has some bad stuff, but the real problem to me is more that the levels themselves tended to be bogged down with gimmick shit and then the enemies they have you fight just feel worse and more annoying to fight than anything, do remember ur kit being fun to use, just what you use it on sucks.

Put more time into infinite wealth than I thought

While I love the indie scene now, one downside is we won't get publishers being tricked into giving money into games like Harvester anymore.

Sure wish the brain would stop frequently making me feel miserable and lonely, while simultaneously scared to burden others with it, but c'est la vie I guess. Surely sleeping and video games will fix it this time

While it's true indie games weren't a big thing back then like now, game budgets and dev time weren't nearly as bloated, so we would get a lot more AA games and iterative sequels a year or two after the prior release

Instead of doing that, could have just had the blades been direct rewards for quests, exploration and the numerous boss monsters in the world, which they p much already do since you get the tickets for the rng machine from it, but would have felt way more rewarding if it just cut that out

Like yeah there's nothing scummy cause you can't give em money for it, but it still fucks the game up in other ways. Locking essentially new subclasses tied to party members with their own quests behind a slot machine just doesn't feel good

Thinking a lot about Xenoblade 2, a very good game that simply can't stop itself from tripping over it's own dick incessantly. I Think my major grievance with it being how they decided shoving a gacha system in their single player game with no microtransactions was a good idea

Always feel baffled whenever I see people complaining about how video games are all terrible and boring nowadays. It's on you if you only sift through the biggest AAA schlock, also feel insane whenever they always seem to clamor for the 360/PS3 generation, that shit was the real dark ages
